Worlds fair Reflection
What did you learn about your country/region of choice through this project? Explain what and how.
I learned how advanced Germany was compared to other countries. Their education is flawless and free. Pristine engineering was shaped here and people around the world come to Germany for it. Germany emits a very positive vibe that many people would like to be apart of.
What item did you recreate? Why did you choose this item? Are you glad you recreated this item after seeing the final products at exhibition?
We recreated the Zeppelin. I chose this item because it branched off into many other things. For example advertisement and entertainment. This item not only impacted Germany but the whole world. I am glad I recreated this item because I met my goal to impress people of all ages.
Describe your prototype process. Was this process helpful/successful? Provide 4 (at least) photos of your prototype.
My prototype was definitely considered a prototype. It was poorly made but it truly helped us develop our final product. We figured out what we can use to guarantee stability in the product. Bendable material that are light but strong was an essential for us to complete it.
Based on what you saw at exhibition, which other country would you be interested in learning more about? Explain why.
It would probably be America because Juicy fruit is a really good gum I would like to get into. Not only that but they are involved in almost every single world's fair. In my opinion they were the 2nd best country.
Do you feel proud of your booth, product, and overall participation at exhibition? Explain why and how. Provide at least 4 photos of your booth and yourself at exhibition.
My booth was okay but could use a lot more work. We wanted to make it as flashy as possible but didn’t prevail. But we did have German music, so I enjoyed that. I am very proud of our product because we were able to finish it with as much effort as possible with such little time. People were impressed which is a success to me. I participated an awful lot in this exhibition concluding with losing my voice. I got people to donate as well.
How do you think exhibition went?
I think exhibition went great but I think it would’ve been better if you did towards the end of the day so more parents are able to go to see all the work we applied to this project. Other than that it was pretty good.
